A lady at Betty's work wanted an Olfa for her Grandkids Frozen Birthday Party, so I made another one at home, but I used a 16" white I had left over from a deco gig for the main body and liked it much better. I may have to buy a bag of 9" white rounds to add to my arsenal of balloons.

Here Piggy ... Piggy
We had a total of 4 twisters at our August meeting and I had a GREAT time. Ken brought some new printed 5" rounds with faces on them, so I whipped up some quick bodies for them. We then moved on to Pigs ! I purchased Eric Weinstein's PDF instructions for a cute pig and gave it a shot. Like always I try to rethink the design into simpler figures that still retain the "cute" factor. I'm still working on the pig but I am excited in the direction that it is going.

Chris of ND Birthday Party
Chris is a regular in my building as well as around campus. He is such a friendly young man and always has a hug for you. Today I was honored to attend his birthday party at ND. I made him a Notre Dame Birthday Cake Hat to celebrate. They sometimes call him the "Mayor of Notre Dame".

Return of Jason
When I first joined the Michiana Balloon Twisters there was a young man named Jason Zabo twisting with us. After awhile he moved to Florida seeking his fame and fortune ... seems he did pretty good ! He joined us tonight at our twisters meeting after visiting some friends in Chicago. He taught us his Yoda and Batman. THANKS Jason !

Independence Day Celebration
I was at my annual Independence Day Celebration with the Fun folks of the University Village on Friday (July 4th). They have food, a bike parade and a bonfire ... and Twister Mike too. It seems like some gigs get too busy for photos and this one is a steady stream of kids and adults. Thanks for inviting me back again this year !
After I'm done I head to Jan & Doc's house for our family's celebrations. We had a few more kids this year (only about 10), so after dinner I broke out the balloons. My Grandson Kade was first in line and he asked for a Captain America Shield ... I thought it would be a great time to design one on the fly. I did get to perfect it as there were a few more kids that wanted one too. My son-in-law Chris McTwist got sucked into making one as well ... good practice !
